Add rinsed beans to slow cooker, along with turkey sausage, celery, bell pepper, onion, garlic, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and chili powder.
Set slow cooker on high setting and cook for 6 hours.
Serve red beans on top of cooked rice. Top with green onions and parsley.
For Stovetop preparation:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil, sauté onions for 3-5 minutes, add garlic, celery, bell pepper and sauté for another 5 minutes. Add spices and cook for an addition minute. Add water and beans and simmer with tilted lid until beans are tender, about an hour.
