The Holiday Stroll is an annual family-friendly event that highlights the lighting of the Capital tree and features a programmed light show, holiday songs, and a variety of vendors to explore.
The event is free, so visitors are enciuraged to bring non-perishable food items to drop-off at various collection points near the Capital tree, including at the Food Bank tent located at Congress and 11th Street. All food donations benefit the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.

KUT & KUTX Holiday Sing-Along with John Aielli - Capitol: 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Lighting of the Capitol Christmas Tree - 11th & Congress: 7:00 PM
Downtown Stroll - Congress from 9th-11th: 7:00 - 9:00 PM
