7th Annual Uncle Doug and Aunt Karla’s Chili Dog Fest

Chili dogs, drinks and 13 hours of music make for a great day out, but it’s even better when it’s for a good cause. The Side Bar are teaming up for the Seventh Annual Uncle Doug and Aunt Karla’s Chili Dog Fest. The event features three to four stages where 30 to 40 bands who donate their time to benefit a charity will play throughout the day. This year, the event will benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Besides listening to great music, attendees can also pick up a complimentary hot dog.

Last year, around 2,000 attendees helped raise close to $5,000 for the selected charity. On Sunday, March 20 from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m., a recommended $5 donation gets you hours of music, hot dogs and knowing that you’re helping fight hunger in your community. Although this event is 21+, people of all ages can attend if they’re accompanied by someone over 21.
