Ingredients
½ cup lean ground turkey
2 cups water
1 can (15oz) whole kernel corn, no-salt added or low sodium
2 cans (30oz) cream-style corn, no-salt added or low sodium
1 cup onions, diced
1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Toppings
Avocado
Cilantro

PREPARATION

  1. In a 5-quart pot, brown ground beef over medium to high heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Add onions, garlic, chili powder, black pepper and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add water, corn, cream style corn and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with avocado and cilantro.
