Join Us in Honoring Dr. King During MLK Week of Service

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve...You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

--Martin Luther King Jr.

Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. said it best, anybody can serve. Through his actions, he showed us the impact a community can make. At the Food Bank we have seen his words come to life, and we couldn’t be more grateful for our volunteers.

To honor Doctor King, the Food Bank is holding a Martin Luther King Day of Service. We encourage you to sign up for a volunteer shift on Monday, Jan. 18. You don’t have to stop there. Come out and volunteer during the rest of the week to celebrate our Martin Luther King Jr. Week of Service. There are many volunteer opportunities to choose from. Sign up for a volunteer shift now.
