When Monroe no longer had income left for food after paying his expenses, the Food Bank was there to help. He is just one of the 52,000 seniors the Food Bank services.
Carolina Diaz has been volunteering at the Food Bank mobile pantry sites since 2013, logging more than 300 hours and lending her translation skills to serve the Spanish-speaking community.
