Gear up for the biggest football game of the year, by joining the biggest food drive of the year. Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide grassroots effort that uses Super Bowl weekend to raise food and funds to help tackle hunger. In Austin, we bring together many great partners, some of them business competitors, to help mobilize the community. Last year, Souper Bowl of Caring raised 1.3 million meals for the families we serve and over the last five years, it’s raised more than five million meals. This year, our goal is to raise 2 million meals.

Donate at the grocery store.

Now through game day, February 1, purchase a pre-packaged bag of food for less than $10 or make a cash donation for $1, $3, or $5 at any H-E-B, Randalls or Central Market. Grab a scan tag, or grab a bag that could be somebody's next meal.

Team up to tackle hunger.

Register your group with Souper Bowl of Caring, and you’ll receive free resource materials to help make your drive a success. We realize you have a choice when selecting a hunger-relief charity as the beneficiary of your collection. Thank you for choosing the Capital Area Food Bank. Your gift will help us nourish the nearly 46,000 Central Texans relying on our services each week. Get started.

Keep the overflow at bay as a volunteer.

Souper Bowl of Caring brings in so many donations that our warehouse sometimes overflows with your generosity. With volunteers like you by our side, we can keep up with the pace and get food into the hands of families in need.  Sign up to volunteer today.
