Make Hunger Awareness Your Campaign.
1. Make hunger awareness a part of your internet-world: download a graphic for your blog, myspace page, message board, signature line or website.
2. Join the CAFB Online Community to receive the latest news, events and stories. Sign up for Action Alerts.
3. Support the Food Bank with a financial donation. Your donation helps put food on the table today and supports long-term efforts for tomorrow. Remember, for every $1 donated the Food Bank can provide 5 meals!
Make Farm Bill Legislation Your Campaign:
1. Create a CAFB Community web page to send out Action Alerts and other updates.
2. Participate in Action Alerts.
Make the Food Stamp Program Your Campaign.
1. Educate yourself on the myths and stigma affecting food stamp participation. Spread the word.
2. Volunteer as a CHOICES Nutrition Educator to help Food Stamp recipients make healthy choices at mealtime.
3. Know someone who may benefit from Food Stamps? Would your organization benefit from a presentation on how to sign up for Food Stamps? Contact the CAFB Food Stamp Outreach Coordinators.
