Community Assessment

Knowing the needs of your community and what resources are available helps you know where your agency fits in (see page 5 in Roadmap). Talk to your clients and other social service agencies.  Look online for reliable statistics about your community.  Bookmark the Web site of other social service agencies in your area and consider joining forces with them for special projects and ongoing communication.
