Define Roles and Incite Passion

Give specific tasks to specific people.  Sounds simple enough, right?  Knowing who does what and at what time helps your agency run smoothly (see page 9 in Roadmap).   Determine which volunteer and staff roles are needed and develop written position descriptions.  Build or strengthen a board of directors.

Recruit and Manage Volunteers

Extra hands are hard to come by.  Every agency needs more help, and if managed well, volunteers add immense value to your agency (see page 10 in Roadmap).
