How to manage your invoice(s).

All bills and shop-for invoices will now be sent electronically. Pick orders will now serve as your invoice. Please make a copy of your invoice for your accounting department and keep them on-site for three years 90 days.


How to order food from CAFB

1. View the shopping list and print the ordering instructions if needed. Any scheduling changes or important announcements will be at the top of this page in the shaded area.

2. Determine when you need to receive your order.

Agency orders MUST be received by 9 a.m., two business days before the order is to be picked up at the Food Bank or at a regional delivery site. Click here to view the Regional Delivery calendar for locations and times.

If you pick up your order at the Food Bank or at a regional delivery location on Monday, you MUST have your order in by Thursday at 9 a.m. the previous week.

Include the date and time of your pickup on your order.  Also include a phone number where you can be reached in case of scheduling conflicts or questions regarding your order.  

3. Place your order online or use the fax order form to submit your order.

Shop-for Guidelines

  • Partner Agencies may take advantage of the many free items including fresh produce, dairy and bread during a shop-for.
  • Partner Agencies arriving with their membership ID card are able to shop-for without an appointment Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.
  • Partner Agencies must accrue a minimum of $30 in Shared Maintenance Fee per month. Otherwise, a $30 per month administrative fee will be charged to your account. 
  • Shop-for is only available for pick up at the Food Bank
  • Items must be boxed separately and weighed by Food Bank warehouse staff
  • Shop-for is limited to 30 minutes.

Partner Agencies distributing food more than once per week can sign up for an additional shop-for for produce and dairy on a first-come, first-served basis. To schedule an appointment, please call Cissy Traynor 512-684-2150.

Web-Order Training

Learn how to order food from Harvest Center online. This training lasts 30 minutes and is conducted via phone. To schedule a training, email Melissa Valdez at agencies@austinfoodbank.org.
