Priority Mail: Nourishing Hungry Central Texans 18th annual “Stamp Out Hunger” the Nation’s Largest One-Day Food Drive
Austin, TX — How it works
- Help the Capital Area Food Bank and the National Association of Letter Carriers nourish hungry Central Texans during "Stamp Out Hunger," the largest one-day food drive in the nation, on Saturday, May 8.
- H-E-B provides paper donation bags, which are placed in mailboxes across Central Texas a few days before the drive. If you don't receive a bag, any paper or plastic bag will do.
- On Saturday, May 8, prior to your regular mail delivery, place a bag of healthy, non-perishable food next to your mailbox.
- All food collected locally will be made available to the Food Bank's 350 Partner Agencies in 21 Central Texas counties.
- This year's goal is 200,000 pounds of food.
