Copperas Cove Community Fair Connects Resources
Area Agencies Gather to Showcase Services to Community Members.


Austin, TX —

The Capital Area Food Bank of Texas hosts the Copperas Cove Community Fair Tuesday, March 11, 10:30 a.m. - noon at the Holy Family Social Hall (1001 Georgetown Road, Copperas Cove, 76522).

More than twenty agencies, including social-service non profits, employment agencies, children's programs and emergency assistance agencies will participate. They will offer information about and referrals to health services, food assistance, military life advocacy, volunteer opportunities, employment opportunities, special services for the elderly, housing assistance, and more.
The event is FREE and open to the public. No RSVP is necessary.

Some of the agencies participating include:

- Refuge Corporation for Women
- United Way
- Habitat for Humanity
- Copperas Cove ISD
- Military and Family Life Consultants
- Central Texas Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse
- Relocation Readiness Outreach Program
- Workforce Solutions of Central Texas
- Boys & Girls Clubs
- The Hill Country Community Action Association
- The American Red Cross
- The Greater Killeen Free Clinic
