Children Welcome to Enjoy Free, Nutritious Lunches This Summer CAFB sponsoring 22 Summer Nutrition Program sites across Travis County
Austin, Texas — WHAT/WHO: The Summer Nutrition Program (SNP) is a federally funded program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture that provides free meals to children age 18 and under during the summer, when National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program meals are unavailable. SNP ensures children have the nutrition they need so they are ready to learn when school starts in the fall. Lunches are served June 7 through August 13, 2010.
