Add 'Help End Hunger' to Your Grocery List
Donations at Area H-E-B Registers to Benefit Capital Area Food Bank


Austin, Texas —

  • At H-E-B stores across Texas, customers can “Help End Hunger” by adding a $1, $3, or $5 donation to their final grocery bill. Tear-off coupons are available at every register.
  • H-E-B’s “Help End Hunger” campaign runs May 12 - June 28.
  • Funds collected from Austin-area H-E-B stores benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.
  • This campaign raised $75,000 for CAFB in 2009.
     
  • WHY DONATE NOW?  Food Bank Partner Agencies have seen an average of a 60 percent increase in need over the past year alone. Community support is needed now more than ever.
