  9th Annual Greater Austin Business Awards
The CAFB Community Relations Team was awarded and recognized for outstanding accomplishments in 2009. The event’s theme, “Heavyweights of Business,” recognized the impact of the efforts made by Austin businesses (small, large and non-profit) on our city throughout the past year.

The Austin American-Statesman's "Top 25 " Texas Social Media Awards
Lisa Goddard, Advocacy and Online Marketing Director, was honored as a winner in 2009. All the award recipients are residents of Texas who are leaders in the growing field of social media.
   
“Profiles In Power - Central Texas Women of Influence”
Kerri Qunell, Vice President, Communications, was honored by the Austin Business Journal at their 15th annual awards ceremony. The award was given to 25 top female industry leaders in Central Texas who have forged their own paths and developed their own leadership principles. Award winners have made a difference in their communities, blazed new trails and are leaving a mark on Central Texas.
   
  CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive)
Adrienne Longenecker, Vice President, Community Relations, has obtained her certification from CFRE International, the only internationally recognized baseline professional credential for philanthropic fundraising executives. The certifiation process consists of three parts: a written application, a written examination, and agreement to uphold a code of ethics and Accountability Standards. There are only about 4,500 CFRE certificants in the U.S.
   
  2006 Austin Under 40
Kerri Qunell, Vice President, Communications, was named winner for the Community Service/Non-Profit category in 2006. Austin Under 40 is an annual event honoring the achievements of Austinites under 40 years of age who have made substantial contributions in their professional fields and through community service.
