CAFB TEACHING GARDEN

The CAFB Teaching Garden teaches CAFB Partner Agencies how to grow food to supplement their needs. The Teaching Garden project also provides resources for our partners to teach those who need food how to grow their own.

Volunteer in the CAFB Teaching Garden

Are you a novice or expert vegetable gardener? Help nourish hungry Central Texans.

We’re preparing for the new planting season and need assistance watering, weeding and feeding our 16 vegetable garden beds. There are also opportunities for you to develop your own creative projects to engage the community with the CAFB Teaching Garden and for experienced gardeners to develop teaching and leadership skills.
