What's this?
Hunger Fact:

DONATE FUNDS

The food lines are getting longer, more people are going hungry and in need of emergency food assistance, many for the very first time. With poverty at record levels, (more than 1 in 6 Americans now live in poverty, the highest in 52 years) and nearly 1 in 5 Texas households and more than 1 in 4 Central Texas children at risk of hunger, CAFB has never been busier.

Why is CAFB a great community investment?

For every $1 you donate, the Food Bank can provide two meals. Charity Navigator awarded us four stars, their highest rating.

We set the standard among the national food bank network for the efficient and effective capture, handling and distribution of food. We return 96 percent of all donated resources back to the community in programs and food distribution.

We’ve been able to respond to the increased demand by developing new ways of managing operations, and capturing and transporting food.

All financial contributions are tax-deductible. View the donation policies & FAQ.

The Capital Area Food Bank was awarded Charity Navigator's highest possible rating.
