Help the Food Bank respond to its mission of nourishing hungry people and mobilizing the community to end hunger.

Make an online donation.

There are many ways you can help the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas fight hunger every day:

Online donations help feed our hungry neighbors in Central Texas. For every $1 donated , the Food Bank can provide 5 meals to a hungry child, adult, or senior.

Donate food. For every pound donated, the Food Bank can provide the equivalent of .8 meals.

Volunteer hours create the equivalent of nearly 20 full-time staff members each year.

Host a food & fund drive at your office, school or faith-based organization. Even a small team can make a big difference.

Cause Marketing campaigns with the Food Bank are a great way to increase sales, visibility, customer loyalty, and positive media coverage.

Sponsor a community event. Government agencies, faith-based groups, businesses, media outlets, service organizations, or schools can raise money and food through special events.

In-kind contributions of office equipment, refrigerators and freezers, or other useful goods and services make a difference for CAFB Partner Agencies.

Contributions to the Capital Area Food Bank Foundation help ensure future ability to assist our neighbors in need throughout Central Texas.

Donate Stock to the Capital Area Food Bank Foundation or the Capital Area Food Bank Operating Fund. Learn more about planned giving.

The Hunger Bytes campaign invites technology companies or related professional or student organization in Central Texas to help raise 3.75 million meals for hungry Central Texans.

If your company is affiliated with the campaign, you can donate online.

Ink Out Hunger is an easy way for your organization to help end hunger. Collect used toner and inkjet cartridges from this list of accepted items in a collection bin provided by our partner, Megabyte Express.  When you have collected ten or more large cartridges, schedule a free pickup.  A significant portion of the proceeds from selling the cartridges for recycling goes to the Food Bank. Learn more about recycling with CAFB.

To help boost local philanthropy, the I Live Here, I Give Here campaign educates Central Texans about the many ways non-profits provide solutions to critical community issues. Show how "you give here" with a donation to the Food Bank.
