Souper Bowl of Caring
is a national youth-led movement of schools, congregations,
community organizations and compassionate individuals joining together
to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities, transforming
the time around the Super Bowl into the nation’s largest celebration of
giving and serving. This year's goal is 1 million meals. All donations benefit the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.
As a registered participant, you'll receive a resource kit including everything you will need to help make your event a success. When you report your collection amount to Souper Bowl of Caring, your total will be added to all other collections and counted towards the national and local total. Register online.
We realize you have a choice when selecting a hunger-relief charity as the beneficiary of your collection. Thank you for choosing CAFB. Your gift will help us nourish the more than 48,000 hungry Central Texans relying on our services each week.
Pre-packaged bags of food are availabe for purchase at your local H-E-B, Randalls and Central Market. You may also make a cash donation at the register. Each bag provides more than two nutritious meals for a family of four.
Look for a bag left by Capitol Area Boy Scouts and fill it with healthy, non-perishable food items. The Scouts will return to pick up your donation and deliver it to the Food Bank
