More than 790 community events, Food & Fund drives and cause-related marketing campaigns benefit the Food Bank each year. Together, they have raised millions dollars and pounds of food of food for Central Texans at risk of hunger. At H-E-B and Central Market stores all across Texas, you can help end hunger by adding $1, $3 or $5 donation to your final grocery bill. Tear-off coupons are available at every register. Funds from Austin-area H-E-B stores will benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.

Rolling Stones Photo Exhibit

Oscar Decker had the opportunity to photograph and work on the backline with the The Rolling Stones as they toured the world for about 11 years. This exhibit will highlight some of his greatest Rolling Stones pictures while raising money for the Capital Area Food Bank through monetary donations for entry into the exhibit. Everyone, especially Rolling Stones fans, would greatly enjoy this event!

Capital City Collision

Think you can't afford that car repair? Think again! Capital City Collision (4304 Burch Dr. Del Valle, TX 78617) is hosting a year-long food drive to help customers save money on their deductible or total and support Capital Area Food Bank at the same time. Non-perishable food items will be accepted as cash towards deductibles and total costs to repair. If a customer pays with insurance, each item donated will be valued at $10 and deducted from your total deductible up to $300. If a customer prefers to pay out of pocket, 15% will be deducted from the total cost. The value of the 15% deduction will equate to the amount of food donated (at $10 per item). Cars and Coffee

Start your engines, Joh Eagle European is back and partnering with the town of Leander to host the hottest event in Austin! The unique car show will meet the first Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in classic Old Town Leander (200 West Willis St Leander, TX). Family and friends can enjoy an up-close look at classic, vintage, antique and exotic automobiles sure to satisfy any automotive enthusiasts. My Charity Race

My Charity Race is a creative, philanthropic endeavor created by local Austinites to raise money for local non-profits. Their goal is to provide competitors with a chance to fund-raise for their desired charity. Runners, swimmers, bikers and any competitors are allowed to register their race, choose their charity, challenge their friends and have some fun! Pampered Chef "Round up from the heart"

Join Pampered Chef in ending hunger. “Round-Up from the Heart” is a year-long campaign benefitting Feeding America’s local food banks by rounding up cooking show purchases or purchasing a limited edition “Round-Up from the Heart” trivet. Randalls Good Neighbor Program

This program allows you to make direct monetary donations to the Food Bank. Link your Remarkable Card to the Food Bank by completing a Remarkable Application Form at a Courtesy Booth within your local Randalls. Complete the top portion and the "Good Neighbor Program" section by designating #212, the Food Bank's account number, as the recipient of funds. If you have an existing Remarkable Card you can link it to the Food Bank's account number at anytime by completing the steps above. 	Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival If you wanna beat the heat this summer then you gotta eat the heat! Join the Austin Chronicle and the Capital Area Food Bank for one of the world's largest hot sauce festivals. Awesome local music and a heated hot sauce competition make this a can't-miss event every year. Monetary and healthy, non-perishable food donations are accepted at the entrance. This event is free to the public with a donation of three healthy non-perishable food items or a $3 donation. Learn more.
	Austin Empty Bowl Project One of Austin’s favorite family-friendly events, Austin Empty Bowl Project has provided local potters, musicians and restaurants the opportunity to help hungry Central Texas children for more than a decade. Always the Sunday before Thanksgiving, for $20, you can purchase a locally hand-crafted bowl filled with your pick of delicious soups and bread donated by local chefs. 	Austin Reggae Festival Join thousands of Reggae enthusiasts from all over for this Texas-sized celebration of spring bringing together world music, tasty food, arts & crafts, spectacular scenes and excellent people watching in Austin! Hosted at one of the city's most popular outdoor venues, Auditorium Shores, this event also helps feed the hungry in Central Texas by benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank. 	CANstruction Make a difference in the fight against hunger by joining us for CANstruction Austin, a charity event committed to ending hunger around the globe. Competing teams, led by local architects, engineers and builders showcase their talents by designing and building giant sculptures made entirely of canned foods. At the close of the construction exhibition, all of the food used in the structures is donated to the Capital Area Food Bank to help nourish hungry Central Texans. 	CROP Hunger Walk CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) Hunger Walk help raise funds to end hunger around the world and at home. Held the first full weekend in March, Church World Service brings together neighbors of different ages, faiths and backgrounds walking together to raise money for hunger, disaster relief and self development projects around the world and in Austin. Locally, funds support CAFB's Fresh Food for Families, Healthy Options for the Elderly, "Wheels of Sharing" Mobile Food Pantry and select Partner Agencies. The route is one mile long. 	Souper Bowl of Caring Souper Bowl of Caring is a national youth-led movement of schools, congregations, community organizations and compassionate individuals joining together to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities, transforming the time around the Super Bowl into the nation's largest celebration of giving and serving. 	Stamp Out Hunger On the Saturday before Mother's Day, join the U.S. Letter carriers in the largest one-day food drive in the nation. U.S. Letter carriers collect bags of healthy, non-perishable food while on their routes across the US. Look for your H-E-B paper bag in your mailbox, fill it with healthy, non-perishable food and set it by your mailbox on Saturday to be picked up. All food donations are then checked for safety and quality, and distributed to a CAFB Partner Agency who then provide the food to hungry Central Texans. Learn more.
