Anderson Mill Gives Back

Donate healthy nonperishable food in the drop boxes at the following locations: Purple Sage Elementary, Grisham Middle School, Kids Club Daycare, HEB (183 at Lake Creek Parkway), and Emler Swim School. 

Or, enjoy the Anderson Mill Gives Back Pool Party from noon - 4 p.m. at El Salido Pool (11500 El Salido Parkway Austin, TX 78750) on May 17th when you donate healthy nonperishable food upon entering. Enjoy the fun while supporting the Food Bank!

H-E-B’s Help End Hunger
All Texas H-E-B's

Help end hunger by tearing-off $1, $3 or $5 coupons at the register upon check out. Funds stay in the areas in which they’re raised! Funds from Austin-area H-E-B stores will benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Last year, H-E-B shoppers helped provide 350,000 meals for hungry Central Texans! Donate at your store to make this year’s Help End Hunger the best yet!

Goldwasser International presents 5th Annual Rock 'N' Restock
Featuring Bob Schneider's Texas Bluegrass Massacre
Stubbs BBQ (801 Red River, Austin, TX), 7p.m.

Rock 'n' Restock began in 2004 as the brainchild of Chad and Tara Goldwasser of Goldwasser Real Estate. Initially a client appreciation party, the event is now open to the public and fulfills a central mission of the company to give back to the community. This year's concert headliner is Bob Schneider's Texas Bluegrass Massacre with special guests Feeding 5000 and Superpal Universe. Donate healthy nonperishable food as you enter the Austin East Side Story Battle of the Bands, a competition for high school marching bands. Admission is $15. Donations benefit the Food Bank.

If you’re a member or a visitor of Bethany Lutheran Church in Austin make a note to donate healthy, nonperishable food items and/or funds on the 1st Sunday of each month. The Food Bank can provide 5 nutritious meals with every $1 donated. For details visit http://www.blcms.org/.

Bites4Good
MindBites.com and student teams from the University of Texas Business School have created two instructional videos to benefit the Food Bank as part of a local charity project called Bites4Good.  Both videos can be purchased and downloaded for $1.99 each. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Food Bank.  Watch short videos to learn something new about produce or learn how to make a "Quiche Lorraine" and "Tarte Tatin".

Dining512.com
Dining512.com provides complete restaurant listings for Austin and surrounding areas including critiques of the food, atmosphere, menus and more. When you advertise with Dining512.com you'll help feed hungry Central Texans. Dining512.com donates 5 percent of featured restaurant sales and 10 percent of sponsor sales proceeds. Funds benefit the Food Bank!


Randalls Good Neighbor Program (Let your Remarkable Card do the work!)
This program allows you to make direct monetary donations to the Food Bank. Link your Remarkable Card to the Food Bank by completing a Remarkable Application Form at a Courtesy Booth within your local Randalls. Complete the top portion and the "Good Neighbor Program" section by designating #212, the Food Bank's account number, as the recipient of funds. If you have an existing Remarkable Card you can link it to the Food Bank's account number at anytime by completing the steps above. Randall's will donate 1% of each purchase you make throughout the year (which adds up and really helps the Food Bank).  It's that easy – and it doesn't cost you anything! Randalls Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Randalls invites you to donate healthy non-perishable food items in the blue barrels located at the entrance of each Austin-area store. This is an easy and convenient way to donate to the Food Bank and make a difference in the lives of hungry Central Texans. Thomas Saverio Salon & Spa Community Rewards Program
Your participation in this program means that 5% of all of your regular price purchases of Salon & Spa services and products will be donated to the Food Bank.  To get started, sign up online at www.thomassaverio.com/reward_cards.html or drop by Thomas Saverio Salon & Spa and fill out a brief information card. You will then receive a free "5% Community Rewards Program Card" that will track your purchases and insure that the donation to the Food Bank is recorded accurately.

Do you attend the Unity Church of South Austin?  Donate healthy non-perishable food and or funds at the church to benefit the Food Bank.  Every $1 donated equals five healthy meals for hungry Central Texans.
